Ideas towards living more sustainably and saving some money

Buriton is connecting with other local groups including villages between Petersfield and Midhurst who are encouraging people to join them by taking a step or two towards living more sustainably, and maybe saving some money.

Each month they are sharing a ‘Tweak of the Month’ for people to try.

This month’s tweak encourages us all to try to use a bit less water – and it provides a number of ideas.

The organisers explain that the whole of the South East of England is a water stressed area, without sufficient sources of water (reservoirs etc) to keep up with demand. They add that we can’t expect to forever take more and more out of a finite resource and they point out that we are not the only ones needing water, all of nature needs it too.

If everyone can do a bit: a lot of people doing a little adds up to a lot!
