Hundreds of photographs of the parish in years gone by. Free exhibition from 11am to 4pm. This year in St Mary's church due to ongoing repair work in the village hall.

An opportunity for parishioners, family and friends to take a delightful guided stroll along farm paths not normally open to the public - and opportunities (weather permitting) to see thousands of bluebells and impressive Early Purple orchids.

Saint Paul had, since his conversion on the road to Damascus, spent ten years as an evangelist to the gentiles before being taken to Rome and his death. He had planted churches in many Roman provinces. This play reading will provide a rare opportunity to hear a modern interpretation of these events and times.

Local expert Nick Heasman will explain many things that make the countryside and community of Buriton very special: from the wonderful starry night skies above our heads to the huge natural reservoir of the chalk rocks below our feet - via all the special plants, trees and wildlife all around us. Very few parts of the planet are special enough to be included in National Parks - Buriton is one of those special places ...

70 years ago hundreds of allied troops were camped in and around the parish in the build up to the D-Day Landings and Operation Overlord. Buriton Village Association is working in partnership with the D-Day Museum in Southsea to find out as much as possible about this period of local history - and a special evening talk will be held on Tuesday 10th June.
