Hundreds of photographs of the parish in years gone by. Free exhibition from 11am to 4pm. This year in St Mary's church due to ongoing repair work in the village hall.
We want to find out what living conditions were like at home during the First World War, as well as finding out more about every one of the parishioners who took part - can you help?
Our exhibition this year will include a presentation about all the men from the parish who took part in the conflict. Almost 200 men had gone away at some time during the war – out of a total population of less than 800.
We hope that some families may have letters, diaries and photographs that may help us add to the knowledge about all these men - and give insights into life at home ...
