Rosemary will help identify a range of species in and around the Buriton Chalk Pits.
In previous years some very rare species have been found – highlighting the importance of this small Nature Reserve.
All the fungi walks in the Buriton Chalk Pits are held for information purposes only. No foraging takes place and there is definitely no fry up at the end.
Identification of the many species of fungi should be left to the experts as some are protected by law whilst others are poisonous.
