Reviving a lovely old tradition, St Mary's church will be full of flowers and open for viewing on Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October.
Plans are being made for a spectacular festival of flowers – all geared around Harvest Festival weekend.
Pop into St Mary’s church on Friday (10am-4pm), Saturday (10am-4pm) or Sunday (12noon-4pm) for a real treat…
Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
Donations will go towards restoring the church lighting and wiring …
If anyone would like to help at any point – either with preparations beforehand or over the three days – please contact Margaret Davis (01730 262833). Help will be needed not just with arranging the flowers but in providing cakes and on the days themselves with stewarding the event. The more help the better.
