Great new film - released in 2012 - starring Maggie Smith, Michael Gambon and Billy Connolly
Set in a retirement home for ageing musicians where preparations for the annual gala are thrown into chaos by the arrival of Opera Diva Jean (Maggie Smith).
An exclusive for the Moviola film company and for 'Films in Buriton' - DVD not being released until April (tbc).
Judging by comments in the village so far, this is going to be a popular film choice and buying tickets in advance might be advisable
As usual, Buriton’s cinema will be offering glasses of wine at the beginning and delicious ice-creams during an interval.
Have a good chat with friends and neighbours – and why not visit one of the pubs afterwards
Tickets cost £5 each and can be paid for in advance for collection on the door by contacting Sarah Marks on 01730 262599. Tickets can also be obtained from the Post Office in the Seward Room at the church during Friday opening times
Remaining tickets go on sale on the film night itself – bringing the exact money would be really helpful.
