Give a donation to save a life – can you help?
The team who are arranging the provision of a defibrillator in the village were hoping to use the Village Show as an opportunity to raise the last bits of fund-raising required.
With a grant from the British Heart Foundation and other donations in the pipeline, the team are looking to raise a further £1,400 so as to be able to provide a weatherproof cabinet, connection to electricity supply and other requirements.
The group provided a comprehensive update to the Parish Council on 27th July with details of the equipment required, potential locations and costs. Once installed there are likely to be opportunities for tuition / familiarisation.
It would still be great if the fund-raising for this project could be completed by Village Show day.
