Chopin, Majorca and the Preludes Op.28 in St Mary’s, Buriton
Tom will play pieces by Frederick Chopin written in the period 1837-9, during which the composer made a disastrous trip to Majorca and also composed some of his best-loved pieces.
The programme will include the Scherzo No.2 in B flat minor and the Preludes Op.28.
The concert will last about 45 minutes.
A retiring collection will be taken in aid of the work of St Mary’s.
