Winner of the Palme d'Or at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival: a quietly fearsome piece of drama with Ken Loach's talent for humour running throughout.

I, Daniel Blake is about a woodworker who would work but can't. After a severe heart attack, Daniel has been advised by his doctor to take a break from manual labour for the good of his health.

Requiring state welfare he joins forces with a single mother in a similar situation.

Together, the duo discovers that negotiating through the red tape is a challenge.

Directed by Ken Loach and starring Dave Johns and Hayley Squires.

If you haven't heard about this one yet, you will do!!

It promises to be a very gripping film of modern day life in the UK welfare system ?
