A concert of music by Johannes Brahms, interspersed with short readings from letters exchanged with his closest female friend, Clara Schumann, widow of the composer Robert Schumann.
A chance to hear some delightful pieces including music for piano and cello, some songs, and a complete performance of a Trio by Brahms for piano, violin and cello.
There will also be short readings from the letters that they exchanged over many years.
The concert will take place in St Mary's church, Buriton. Admission is free, no tickets needed, refreshments available during the interval and a retiring collection at the end.
