Tom Courtenay and Charlotte Rampling are at the top of their game in this compelling drama of lost love and missed opportunity
A big hit at the Berlin Film Festival, Tom Courtenay and Charlotte Rampling play a couple (Geoff and Kate) whose celebration of 45 years of marriage is wrecked by the discovery of the body of Geoff's previous lover in an Alpine glacier 50 years after her accidental death.
A terrific film, all about a close relationship now revealed to be what it seemed.
The two leads are perfect and Rampling especially gives a quietly devastating performance.
Films are shown in the Village Hall at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm). Refreshments are available before very show.
There is an interval during which ice creams are available.
Tickets cost £5 each - having the exact money is very helpful.
