St Marys

Harvest Festival lunch

Free 'bring and share' lunch

After the church service, at 12pm, St Mary's will be celebrating Harvest Festival with a lunch in the church.

The meal will be lasagne, but if people are able to contribute a salad, snack, pudding or drink that would be brilliant.

Please let the organisers know if you would like to come so that they have an idea of numbers to cater for.

Please sign up on the clip board at the back of church, or phone the parish phone 01730 642123 and leave a message, or email buritonparishpriest@gmail.com

All are welcome

Cream teas, cakes and helping the planet at St Mary’s Church

Delicious food – and food for thought

Another opportunity to savour cream teas and cakes in the church – and to see how the churchyard is being managed for a wide diversity of plants and animals to try to reverse the trend of habitats and species disappearing.

There will also be reminders of the recycling opportunities available at the church.

All proceeds in aid of St Mary's Church.

“My Soul, There Is a Country”

"The Best of British Choral Music"

The renowned London-based choral quartet, Sonare, have embarked on a concert tour – including a treat for us in Buriton.

The history and heritage of choral music stretches across the ages and from around the world and Sonare describe Great Britain’s contribution as “essential, stirring and sensational.”

Their programme will feature unmissable favourites alongside underappreciated gems, with fascinating musical history commentary from the singers themselves.

In St Mary's Church. Entry is free with a retiring collection.
