Welcome to Buriton

Exactly 300 years ago the church tower was struck by lightening and destroyed by fire. Buriton's bell-ringers will be marking this anniversary - and they will also be giving people a chance to have a go at ringing the bells.

Applause rang out long and loud for the multi-talented 'Instant Sunshine' after their performance in the Manor Barn in late October.

Copies of a brand new Buriton Parish Calendar for 2013 are now available. At only ?7 per copy the new calendar makes a perfect Christmas present for family and friends.

There was a pleasant surprise for the community recently when a Buriton project scooped the top award at a special ceremony near Winchester.

Families from nine different counties in England and some from Wales flocked to see Buriton's annual local history exhibition on Saturday 29th September 2012 - mingling with residents and parishioners.
