Copies of a brand new Buriton Parish Calendar for 2014 are now available. At only ?7 per copy the new calendar makes a perfect Christmas present for family and friends.

After her popular and inspirational talk in the village in February, award-winning author Michelle Magorian returned to Buriton to introduce a film adaptation of her book 'Back Home'.

The Parish Council's project to encourage more wildlife in the Chalk Pits Nature Reserve - whilst providing an attractive place for local walkers to pause for a rest - commenced in October.

Over sixty people packed into the village hall on a very wet and windy night to be entertained by a witty and informative talk - the autumn meeting of the Buriton Village Association.

Light-hearted lyrics, memorable melodies and clever choreography helped ensure a memorable concert in St Mary's church on Sunday 20th October.
