Scores of people took part in a special 'pop-in' event in Buriton village hall recently to help shape the future of the parish.

As part of Buriton's Village-to-Village link with its sister community of Dominase in rural Ghana, teachers are nearing the end of their special training project.

The County Council is faced with yet more cuts in funding from Government and has concluded that "it is no longer feasible to deliver services at the same level, and in the same way".
