Villagers take a spin on electric bikes
Organisers of a new scheme which is designed to help local pubs and businesses were delighted with the interest shown in Buriton on Saturday 28th April.
Bluebell walk was obviously ?meant to be?
Despite days of wet weather, Susan Shone's annual Bluebell Walk at Bolinge Hill Farm took place as planned on Sunday 29th April. And it was obviously 'meant to be'.
Great weather for snails
Wet weather brought an added bonus to Buriton's Chalk Pits Open Day on Saturday 28th April. Whilst some of the planned activities were switched indoors into the village hall, a number of special discoveries were made on the bug hunting expeditions and guided walks.

On the day that the Olympic Torch passes through part of the parish, Piers Burton-Page limbers up for the Games with a very surprising history of an Olympic opera.
