Welcome to Buriton

On the day that the Olympic Torch passes through part of the parish, Piers Burton-Page limbers up for the Games with a very surprising history of an Olympic opera.

Dance to the live sounds of six decades of music at "A Right Royal Rave", Sunday 3rd June (7.30pm - 11pm) in Buriton manor Barn

If you can help in any way with this year's display then come and join the Fireworks Committee at The Five Bells in Buriton on Tuesday 8th May at 8pm.

A giant cycle around the gently undulating lanes of the South Downs. Three circular routes for all levels of ability: 44, 76 and 102 miles. Buriton is just over half-way along the longest route, the 102 mile-long Giant. Cyclists will pass through Buriton from late morning onwards.

Plans for a day of festivities and fun in Buriton on Sunday 3rd June have been revealed in the Parish Magazine. And bookings are needed for the Street Party so that the organisers know how many tables and chairs to obtain.
