Susan Shone put on a special spread for seniors from across the parish in July - an established part of the community's annual 'Down on our farms' programme of events, open days, walks and talks.

Even some heavy showers of rain couldn't detract from the enthusiasm of forty members of Buriton Tennis Club as they enjoyed two days of non-stop tennis.

A highlight of the community's 'Down on our Farms' programme this year was Susan Shone's big Farm Open Day.

The weather was kind to Buriton. Whilst rain was falling all around, everything took place as planned enabling a host of happy memories from a thoroughly enjoyable day.
