Susan Shone put on a special spread for seniors from across the parish in July - an established part of the community's annual 'Down on our farms' programme of events, open days, walks and talks.
Susan had prepared a wonderful range of sandwiches, cakes and scones - and there were also bowls of fresh raspberries and lashings of cream.
Conversations ranged widely and the world was gradually put to rights as everyone chatted over cups of tea and coffee.
'It's nice to sit down and chat with so many different people' enthused Aubrey and Rhoda Bicknell on their journey back home. 'And it's lovely to get out and go somewhere different' added Betty Munt.
Transport was provided so that everybody could get to and from Bolinge Hill Farm easily - and a good time was had by all.
