Bolinge Hill Beef

Beef from Bolinge Hill Farm is generally available from December to February - but orders can be placed at other times.

Susan Shone offers 'half boxes' at £50 and 'full boxes' at £90. Many people arrange to share with neighbours, family or friends.

All the beef comes fresh, butchered into portions and, vacuum packed and labelled - ready for freezing.

After you have ordered, Susan gives you a date about a week in advance and you collect from the farm on a specific day. Payment is on collection.

A "box" contains:

  • 1 x 1.5kg topside or silverside joint
  • 2 - 3 x 2 portion steaks, either sirloin, rump, rib eye or fillet
  • 1 pack of 2 braising steaks
  • 4 x 500 gr. packs of cubed casserole steak
  • 4 x 1kg mince

Contents of half a box:

  • 1 x 1.5kg joint either topside or silverside
  • 2 x 2 portion steaks either sirloin, fillet, rump or ribeye
  • 1 pack of 2 braising steaks
  • 2 X 500 gr packs of cubed casserole steak
  • 2 X 1kg mince

There may be some slight alterations to the contents of each box / half-box because of the differing sizes of the animals. Don't miss out - it's always 'first come, first served'.
