Susan Shone put on a special spread for seniors from across the parish on mid-summer's day.
The special 'farm tea' was part of Buriton's annual 'Down on our farms' programme of events, open days, walks and talks.
Transport was provided so that everybody could get to and from Bolinge Hill Farm easily - and a good time was had by all.
Susan had prepared a wonderful range of sandwiches, cakes and scones - and there were also bowls of fresh raspberries and lashings of cream.
The world was put to rights as everyone chatted for hours over their cups of tea and coffee.
Susan is planning a big Farm Open day ?for all the family? next year as part of the community's celebrations during 2012.
Make a note of Sunday 24th June 2012 in your diaries now: much of the farm's machinery will be on show, there will be explanations of how the farm works - and wonderful refreshments including local ice-cream and Bolinge Hill's own beef burgers.
Another treat not to be missed.
