An illustrated talk about Sir Edward Grey, Foreign Secretary at the outbreak of the First World War, will provide background to the build-up to the conflict and insights into Sir Edward's many links with Hampshire

A quiet evening of poems and prose from a hundred years ago (some by local residents and servicemen), commemorating the start of four years of World War.

Buriton Tennis Club is holding its regular Quiz Night in the Maple Inn this year - and all are welcome.

Hundreds of photographs of the parish in years gone by. Free exhibition from 11am to 4pm. This year in St Mary's church due to ongoing repair work in the village hall.
