Regular walkers along The Links, at Halls Hill and in Weston will have noticed that the Parish Council has been able to replace yet more awkward stiles with easy-to-use kissing gates.
A number of other stiles into and along The Links had already been replaced with kissing gates (and steps down the steep side from North Lane) and so it is now much easier for young children, the elderly and mobility impaired to stroll along this attractive 'hidden valley' - all the way to the lovely bluebell woods.
It has also been possible to provide a seat along The Links so that walkers of all ages can rest their legs.
We are grateful to all the landowners for their cooperation in these projects - and to the Parish Plan team for winning the money that is paying for all the latest improvements.
When enjoying the countryside please respect all farmland, keep to designated footpaths and keep dogs under control at all times.
