Buriton in Tier 4 after Christmas Day

Everyone must stay at home, apart from very limited exceptions.

The whole of the East Hampshire district and surrounding areas moves into 'tier four' at the beginning of Boxing Day (Saturday December 26).

This means that people must stay at home, apart from limited exceptions: food, medical reasons or work.

The area has very rapidly rising level of infections.

Around 1 in 3 people have no symptoms, so will be spreading the virus without realising.

Work from home if you can.

ONLY up to 2 people can meet in outdoor public spaces.

Do not travel unless necessary.

People should not enter or leave 'tier four' areas.

More information about the new restrictions is available on the GOV.uk website: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/tier-4-stay-at-home
