Pop along between 2 and 4pm on Saturday 14th September to find out more about bees and honey – whilst drinking tea and eating cakes!
The Petersfield & District Beekeepers Association are holding their annual Honey Show in Buriton this year and they’d be delighted to see lots of villagers.
Not only would they like people to pop along (between 2 and 4pm) to find out more about bees, honey and wax while drinking tea and eating cake – they’d also like people to take part:
People don't have to be members to enter – nor do you need to keep bees (although entering the honey classes without bees is recognised as a challenge too far!) There will also be photographic classes, baking sections and classes for artistic flair from adults as well as children.
If you are unable to enter the Buriton Village Show competitions (or if you want to add to your prizes!), there is still time for your cakes to shine. The schedule is on the Association’s website www.petersfieldbeekeepers.co.uk and it costs nothing to enter.
