An excellent series of films has been arranged for the autumn of 2013 with some very recently released films - and there is also an extra film this season, with a special introduction by award-winning author Michelle Magorian

The community's 2013 calendar was far more popular than initially envisaged - so the organisers are doing the same thing for 2014 and want even more people to take photographs for consideration.

Over 40 members of Buriton Tennis Club took part in their annual 'fancy dress' Davis Cup competition - dressed to represent teams from France, Hawaii, New Zealand and the USA.

Susan Shone put on a special spread for senior citizens from across the parish in July - an established part of the community's annual 'Down on our farms' programme of events, open days, walks and talks.

Some of the community activities that have taken place in the parish in recent years are featured in the South Downs National Park's latest newspaper.
