Advice about leaving valuables in vehicles following recent incidents
A number of cars have been broken into in recent evenings including one in North Lane, Buriton, in the early hours (about 01.30am) of Wednesday 17 January.
Two vehicles were entered whilst parked on a private home driveway. After an untidy search, nothing was stolen but the police are appealing for any information: please call telephone 101 and quote reference 44180020812.
Apparently the culprits may have some sort of ‘pass key’ with which they can enter most types of vehicle and so everyone may wish to make sure that they don’t leave valuables in vehicles.
