A modern retelling of the story of England's famous warrior queen who rose up against the Romans.
Boudicca Bronze Age warrior queen, has burned London, Camulodunum and Verulamium to the ground in retaliation for the rape of her daughters and her flogging at the hands of the occupying Roman forces.
Now she wants to drive them out of Britain once and for all.
While her three Roman soldier prisoners dream of Italian sunshine and wine, they discuss these strange Britons who are fighting to keep their dignity and way of life.
Boudicca at Verulamium will be at Zurs, a private house in Rake, on May 8th and 9th; at St Peter's Church in Petersfield on May 10th and 11th and finally in the Great Roundhouse at Butser Ancient Farm on May 12th and 13th.
