Criminal damage to vehicles in the village

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following incidents of criminal damage to vehicles in Buriton over the last month. 

At least four vehicles parked in Heatherfield have sustained deliberate scratches to the paintwork and it is thought the damage is likely to have occurred at some point between times 09:00 - 16:00 on a Tuesday (various dates in September). 

A further two vehicles have sustained deliberate scratches to the paintwork in the High Street of Buriton on the 04/10/2018 between times 08:15hrs - 14:30hrs. 

Motorists whose vehicles were damaged and who haven't already reported it are urged to get in touch.

Police are currently looking at all options to prevent and deter this type of crime this will include targeting offenders and offering reassurance to victims of crime and carrying out high visibility patrols.
