Dog poo problems again?

All the District Council’s litter bins around the village can be used for bags of dog poo.

The amount of dog mess around the village seems to be increasing again and is spoiling things for young children.

The District Council reminds residents and visitors that dog waste can be put into any of its bins as long as it is properly sealed in a bag.

The Council also reminds everyone that it is an offence not clean up after your dog and that Fines and Fixed Penalty Notices can be issued.

People can contact EHDC’s Animal Welfare Officers to alert them to offenders via ehealth@easthants.gov.uk. It is not necessary to provide the name: it would be sufficient to tell them that, for example, a male living at 150 the High Street lets a dog stray or foul and fail to clear up after it.
