A Murder Mystery evening

Come and enjoy a Murder Mystery evening in the village hall (staged by members of the Lion and Unicorn Players) and enjoy a delicious supper.

Piano Recital by Tom Cooper on Sunday 10th July

Pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Brahms and others in St Mary's Church at 2.30pm.

A superb pianist and a fine piano come together again to provide another very special event in St Mary?s Church.

Before joining the Open University as a music lecturer, Buriton?s own Tom Cooper had followed a career as a concert pianist, performing as far afield as France and America as well as around the UK.

Another afternoon of delight and pleasure is guaranteed.

Fantastic Festival of Flowers

Visitors flocked to St Mary's church to view the harvest-themed flower festival.

The first flower festival in Buriton for 15 years was spread over three days in early October and it was immediately hailed as a great success.

Organiser Margaret Davis said: “There were lots of visitors – we were thrilled. It was fantastic.”

Harvest Flower Festival

Reviving a lovely old tradition, St Mary's church will be full of flowers and open for viewing on Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October.

Plans are being made for a spectacular festival of flowers – all geared around Harvest Festival weekend.

Pop into St Mary’s church on Friday (10am-4pm), Saturday (10am-4pm) or Sunday (12noon-4pm) for a real treat…

Refreshments will be available throughout the day.
